Black Cable Railing System Floating Stairs-Hamptons, NY

A new home built in the modern farmhouse style by Perello Design-Build features our cable railing systems on both the interior and exterior. The interior of the home has high ceilings with wood timbers, modern touches, and contemporary design elements. Central to the living space is a rustic timber frame structure with large wood beams and an open floating staircase. This space was designed with expansive floor to ceiling windows to allows for the maximum light flow throughout the interior rooms. To maintain the open airy feeling of the home our Ithaca style black cable railing system was chosen, for its slim posts, on the stairs and catwalk that runs along with the windows on the upper level.  To complement the modern farmhouse style on the exterior of the home, the designers choose our Ithaca style railing design with gray powder coated posts and stainless steel cables and fittings. Our sleek railing system offers optional lag hardware for connecting the cables to the structure of the home, thus eliminating the need for additional posts resulting in a more minimal appearance. This technique was employed to connect to the interior timbers and to the porch columns on the exterior of the house. The combination of rustic, modern, and contemporary design elements resulted in the creation of this exquisite luxury modern farmhouse.
