Timber Frame Homes with Cable Railing

Timber frame homes are an architectural staple of rural and mountainous regions. While design trends have come and gone, timber frame architecture has remained extremely popular. However, the style has been adapted to incorporate contemporary elements. For example, cable railing has become a favorite for decks on timber frame homes and cabins. Keuka Studios cable railing, particularly our curved Keuka Style railing, pairs perfectly with timber frame architecture because of its rustic appearance and the option to add a matching wood top rail. Furthermore, many timber frame homes have incredible vistas of mountain ranges, forests, or lakes. Our cable infill is nearly transparent and doesn’t obstruct these views. Thinking of modernizing your timber frame home? Take a look at these houses with our cable railing for design inspiration.
