Fascia Mounted Cable Railing – Keuka Lake, NY
Location: Keuka Lake, NY
Material and Finish: The Keuka Style curved cable railing system is made of steel and powder-coated "Oil Rubbed Bronze". The railing is topped with an IPE rail that perfectly complements the deck and timber beams, seamlessly integrating the railing with the homes architecture. It incorporates the Keuka Cable stainless steel cable and fitting system, offering sleek lines and unobstructed views.
Description: The Keuka curved fascia mounted cable railing wraps seamlessly around two levels of decks, two exterior staircases, and a pedestrian bridge leading to the main entrance. The railing system was designed to be fascia mounted also known as front mounted to the decks and stairs. Using the same railing system across all exterior spaces creates a cohesive and harmonious look.
This stunning lakefront residence showcases a masterful blend of modern design and natural materials, highlighted by Keuka Studios’ signature curved fascia-mounted cable railing system. Built with exposed timber framing, stonework, and expansive glass, the home embraces its waterfront setting with multiple outdoor living spaces that invite relaxation and unobstructed views. Keuka Studios designed and fabricated a custom Keuka-style curved cable railing system for the exterior of the home, including two levels of decks, two exterior stairs, and wrapping a pedestrian bridge to the main entrance. The entire railing system is fascia-mounted to the deck and stairs, for a minimal appearance and to maximize deck space. The railing follows the graceful architecture, mirroring the arc of the timber beams. Powder-coated “Oil Rubbed Bronze,” the color complements the home’s exterior. Since the railings wrap the homes, bridge decks, and stairs, they create a cohesive visual flow.
The Keuka Cable horizontal stainless steel cables and fittings ensure an open, airy feel, while the sculptural posts provide strength without distracting from the lake view. This cable railing system ensures the breathtaking natural scenery remains the focal point, unlike bulky traditional railings that severely limit visibility.
This project is a standout example of how custom Keuka-style curved cable railings can elevate waterfront architecture, maximizing the views.
