Cable Assembly 1
Used on horizontal cable runs in either metal or wood posts. We factory swage (pronounced swaj) one end of the cable and add 12 inches of additional length to the cable you select so you have enough for site variations. The push lock fitting included quickly and easily attached to the other end without any special tools.
All fittings and cable are made from marine grade type 316 stainless steel cable to stand up to the elements. Cables are 1/8" Diameter 1x19 construction.

Applications
Cable assembly 1: For cable runs that start horizontal and end on a stair with metal posts
The assembly consists of:
1 - Receiver fitting, this is the fitting used to apply tension once installed.
1 - Length of 1/8" Diameter cable (specify Length) with factory swaged threaded stud.
1 - Push lock fitting to allow pivoting to match stair angles (self swaging fitting).
2 - Plastic washers act as a scratch resistant barrier between the Receiver fittings and a metal post. For wood applications, also order the stainless washers.
